The relatively new Lion will be asked to take over as Chairman of the membership committee with a staff of Lions who have never served on this committee. They are to replace a committee of long time veteran Lions that have been ineffective in this committee.

The resolution was an appointment to another committee equally or more important where her leadership skills are of greater to the club. The key is to make her feel important and to defuse the hurt feelings in order to retain both members.
